The title of this entry is French for "I like to lick..."

Which I thought was funny because I've been known to "lick" pictures. Except that I would never actually lick anything... yuck.

Intro time!

I...

-love watching the Office. The US version. I have seen every episode and am a maniac about thursday nights on NBC

-only drink Coca Cola Zero....because I've been brainwashed to think that it's healthier.

-have a weird appreciation for *NSYNC....still....come on! Listen to their music...you'll understand....

-love movies! I'm pretty damn good at movie trivia...

-hate weird smells. Smells are a big part of life...cause you're always breathing, therefore smelling...

-like James Bond. I don't know why. *cue Daniel Craig coming out of the ocean in teeny weeny blue pants* Oh. That's why.

-do not like Moe's. Everyone is like "OMG! THAT'S THE BEST PLACE EVER!!!" I just don't like it...

-have a weird collage fetish. I own hundreds of magazines, each with pages ripped out.

-rip magazines. While this may be redundant, it's not. I rip magazines that aren't mine. The libraries get pretty pissed. As do the people in the waiting rooms....

-speak French and Spanish. And obviously English.

-have only made one movie in my life. This is important, because it shows you how I am already unsuccessful as an aspiring film maker. Portfolio? What portfolio...?

-do not like vegetables. Carrots and potatoes are the exception

-think Lettuce smells funny....refer back to smell sentence.

-have two cat-babies...I was pregnant with my cats...*not*

-love SNL! My fav skits are the ones with Penelope (Kristen Wiig) when she says "Um, well, I gave birth to my cat... it is my child...", the one with Justin Timberlake and the Target lady...and pretty much all the digital shorts.

-like Alternative music. I didn't give it its name, but what the hell.
-have a massive crush on Hayden Christensen...and John Krasinski...and Leo DiCaprio...and Brad Pitt...and Matt Damon....aaaaand, well there's more, but I don't have that kind of time.

-am a photographer. But, I wish I were better at photography. I'm very spur of the moment 'must-take-a-million-pictures-now' person.

-wish I was a fluorescent adolescent. I have that last part down...

-hated the ending of the Wonder Years. WHAT THE HELL KEVIN!? YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE WITH WINNIE! DAMN YOOOOU!

-love to shop. Like...too much.

-do not say the word 'like' too much.

-love celebrities (did you know that Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon broke up? or that Eddie Murphy really IS Mel B's baby daddy? Yep, that was today's news)

-love Marie Antoinette. I wanted to be her when I grew up...but then I learned that she got her head chopped off because she gambled her money away and didn't give a shit about the French people...or did she?

-am immensely inspired by Andy Warhol. He is a genius in every meaning of the word.

....and there you have it. Ta-da! The basic facts about...who else? ME!

Hello to all! You might be wondering "Why the hell would anyone call themselves 'collegial lor'?" or, if you're like me, the word collegial brought many things to mind. To me, the word collegial (which, despite what Mr. Red Squiggly Underline says, is a real word) brings the following to mind:

A- John Krasinski. Mr. Halpert himself has a very collegial aura.
B- College ruled paper. Which I HATE.
C- College in general, which is why I'm here.

What better way to remember your senior year than to write crap about it? As a private companion to a documentary in the works, I, Lor, am going to be its author.

I guess you could say I'm in a COLLEGE state of mind...

I'm a terrible comedian.

My Summer Awakening (yet another horrible play on the title of the Tony Award winning musical "Spring Awakening") came when I was reminded by Gmail that I had some SAT scores to view. With an ounce of shame, I present them:

CRITICAL READING- 520
(buhhhh...how average...maybe if their passages were a little more interesting, I'd do better)

MATH- 450
(No, the public school system did not fail me Toby Flenderson...)

WRITING- 660 [Multiple Choice 63. Essay 10/12]

No parentheses needed to say that I'm a writer. Which is bittersweet, because while I'm immensely proud of my writing score, almost all of my college choices don't give a damn.

I'd like to be a director. More specifically, a writer-director-actor, but let's take baby steps.

I will major in Cinema Studies. I have no back-up.

Aaaand, I guess that's the scuttlebutt for now.
